Another Good Weekend... :0)

Post by Matt Vinyl »

Hi All, had a very fruitful weekend, (sorry about the pun!).

Friday was brilliant - to sum up:

TAW - £20 in £75 out (1 Red Series / 1 NW / 1 SH)

RM(1) - £15 in £25 out (1 JP on a dodgy number - not showing)

SA - £30 in £62 out (1x MS - £25 / 1x Notation - £25 / 2x £6)

SB - £10 in £17 out (two red features - wasn't really playing well)

Freak Streak - £25 in £92 out (first real push on this for me, and it was giving me loads of red features / cash even on normal start. Took a green MS thinking that might still be £25, but it went for something like £17. Next couple of bords were showing the beautiful reds, and filled the name up for a £75 top! :) :) :) I like this one now!

Global 'Greed' - £40 in for a £55 top, followed by another £10 in for a JP off of Superhold . (Quite like this little machine, seems to like offering 'steals'.

DNA - £15 in £75 out.

Top Giza - £30 in £50 out.

Ended up having a great evening also with mates and got in around half four in the morning...

...Hence didn't get out of bed until about 4 on Saturday afternoon.

Today (Sunday) down to the beach again for a great day out, all paid for thanks to Friday...

That's how I like it! ;)

As we've all talked about - timing is definitely key to making a profit. Friday afternoons / evenings always seem to pay off for me. I only play machines once a week (twice if I do get out on a Thursday) and hitting 'em at that frequency seems to get them all topped up nicely... ;)

One downer - they've gotten rid of the Pulsation that was in the Smith & Jones pub nearby... :(

Helped a chum out also, who was playing an Extreme (that pirate one with the three chests) and he'd put his £60 stake straight through it without any return! (gold cashpot was giving frequent £25s but not becoming active) Popped him a score to keep chasing and he dropped it for £70. ;)

Anyone's else weekend turn out OK?

:)

Glad to see you have had a nice weekend Mr V :D I had a right adventure to the far reaches to Suffolk  :P

I went out travelling with a mate. Getting a bit sick of Cambridge to be honest! :x

Went to Wetherspoons though, and LAB was playing quite nicely. The first Sunny Money went for £25 from about £30 in. The very next board went all the way for £25 again, so that was ok. I thought that might be it......but it was showing a few reds still, so we decided to start banking. It gave green FTF on the board, which we took. Bang, straight on the £25! How odd! Left that one there, about £30 up.

Saturday we decided to venture out. Ended driving to Felixstowe, then Ipswich on the way back. I was so happy to see a Royal Roulette in the main arcade in Felixstowe. Happy days! Pushed this one too, and wanted the gold series. It refused that and gave winning streak instead, which went for £40. Only ended up making about £10, but i was more than happy to see an old classic living on!
Cracked an IJ3 for £28 (Bank Raid + £3 Turbo). Hoping it would streak, but it didn't unfortunately. Only made a few quid there. Nipped over the road to find another classic! Supernova, which i again hadn't seen for ages. Took a £9 pot and ran after only a few in. Rolled along to JP Genie, which went fairly crazy on us. Set on arcade mode in a pub for some reason, maybe that helped it. Took a red find the pea for £10. Green skill cash for £8. Red Cash Links for £8. Green Treasure Trove for £10. A nice little £36 bank built from about £15 in. The next board was a blinder all red bar toggle cash. Thought it was the red herring, but managed to hit a feature exchange. Stopped right on red TT, which was an easy £25 with no repeat. Decided to leave that one there again, a good £20 in for £61 back. Got the usual 'Mine's a double vodka red bull mate' from a local. Don't think they were too impressed to see us scarper and leave behind 2 half empty cokes.

Off to Ipswich then, after making a good £65 going round Felixstowe in 2 hours. Never been before, so it was daunting to try and find everywhere! I did manage to see that famous building with the garden on the roof though, so that was good  A local said there were 2 Wethers, so we decided to hit those and leave.
Found the first one, with Casino Crazy, Cobra Cabana and Round The Bend (switched off). Tried Casino Crazy with some nice results. Banked £26, nearly half of which came from red toggle feature on there, i can't remember the name of it. Only stuck about £15 in for that lot.
Cobra Cabana was also generous, giving a £7 money belt mixed bos win, a red toggle for £10, a cash gamble to £6, and a red superhold for £10. Died after, but made a decent £20ish there.
Went to the bigger 'spoons (the Cricketers?) and was happy to see a Pulsation that was again half showing reds. Pushed this, and had to get 4 tops out of it to get £80 (£20, £20, £10, £30) which was slightly annoying. The only afters we got was a red cash falls for £8. It cost a good £60 to get that lot as well, so not a great profit. It was so chocca in there we couldn't be arsed with anything else and went home.

A mammoth day that returned around £120 in places we'd never been. Didn't touch one bellfruit/extreme/vivid all day. Might be a lesson for all

Nice one MattB! Been to Felixstowe a few times in the past, not the worst place ever! ;)

Also got this coming Friday off, so will be out and about again - may take a leaf out of your book and go somewhere different for a change! ;)

Played most machines in my local arcade (halves with a mate, £50 each). Got ourselves up too £200, well, £204 so we stuck the £4 in a S16 for nothing. Decided to hit the bookies, bad move! all the profit went in, the £10 each, then again, again. I had just my £10 left, he had nothing. Mine went in, £10 on black. Win. £20 red, win, £40 red, win, £80 black 'are you serious he said!' yeah, ok, £40 on black, win! Should have put the £80 on I said lol. £40 on red win, £5 on 2 numbers, lose. £150 in the bank, £50 on red win. Cash out, relief!

£50 up each, but my god, did we feel sick til the above happened.

In the evening I had 30 mins or so in a local arcade, got a super mode on Revolution and took jackpot off run around for £6 in. Had a spell on some £5ers and came away £24.50 up :)

Sunday, 5 hours in and out of different arcades. Things wern't great, had a full golden game (which auto nudges the flash), £60 in, flash, £25 folled by £5 in nudges, DEAD! Had another one similar, monopoly this time, 1st hold after was £25 after about £60 again. Still scrapped £19 profit thanks to £10 in a slotto for £60 out. Another day those GG/M would have played better, or how they normally do and i'd have added a sizable chunk onto the £19. When I look back on the day I wished i'd not tried a coule of red bars too, must have lost £40 in those bastards. One was full to!

Still, just shy of £100 for the weekend, 12-13 hours play 'suppose :)

I had a pretty awesome day too today.

Started with £20 and went into the local showboat, claimed my 5 pounds worth of free plays on the promotion.

+ £3 in Never mind the Jackpots, £18 out.

+ £5 in barcrests "Golden Keys" (Barcrests new multi seater) £24 out

+£7 in "who dares spins" - £19 out.

Then with a better float i moved to Red heaven, aka My local wetherspoons.

+£30 in Pulsation - £70 out

+£10 in Sub Zero - £32 out

+£25 in Cobra Cabana - £65 out.

Then to finish stopped by my local. (none note changers)

+ Got fucked on a "Back to the features". £70 in, £15 out (backing!!!)

+£15 in Voodoo's "cash blast" - £42 out.

Overall A nice tidy profit, £25 went on a hair cut, Then paid for some of the stuff id saved from the sale in the Surf/Snowboard shop i work in....Even after all that, I ended about 50 up.

Nice considering i started with £20.

My sisters getting Married in Cardiff on Saturday, so im off tommorow morning till sunday.... So all you guys have a cracking weekend and enjoy the weather - get the beers in!

Started the other day with a fiver, buy a j20 and throw loose change in Round the Bend, didn't have key on me but managed to suck £12 out. Go down to the next pub to get revenge on the fat slag, who works behind the bar and is apparently engaged to the landlord, who stole my machine the previous week (£40 into Lucky Strike, nipped out to the cash point leaving credit in it, come back and she's potted it - Ember Inns: expect mail). Get a £48 Strike it Rich for a tenner, let it autopay so she can hear her bollocks falling out... at this time she was using money from the til to play a newly founded Doctors n Nurses, which was dropping... Not amazingly buzzed when I finally got on it, but enough to suck £65 from £40something... I could have left with more profit but wanted a bigger bank so it autopayed massively again. Job done.

Down to bash another extreme, quite well hidden and I'd not been there for a couple of weeks. It's off it's nuts and repeats JP with very good afters, which practically confirms that no-one else is keying it.

Next stop is Spoons to do the Wobbler. Double it for about twenty in. Around a oner up, not a bad afternoon so far. Try the new Red, Kings Ransom, after loosing a few quid on a Sub-Zero. Showing 75% red features and £8 cash ladder on consecutive boards and on the drop, you're getting pushed any day of the week. £80 of float and £25 of recycled safe cash wins later and it finally goes, flat £25. Still showing and hitting reds but takes £35 to get 3 crowns. £25 again. Getting fucked off with it now, so going to suck red features. Hidden Riches was the first one, bang, £25 (no repeat, unsurprisingly). Goes dead. Go home, get changed, go to the pub, vow not to waste time and money on shitty new Reds again.
