Great for players yes!!!

Imagine some poor sod playing it on 50p after it had been ripped a few times!!!

There can only be one all time favourite by a country mile for me......

Projects Balls Of Steele - Amazing machine.

I still love HLS... I just think it's actually fun to play.
Or CoB (the one with the pig sounds) by Red gaming... :-)

P.S: I'm probably a little younger than a few of you on here (no offense!) so I never played the older machines.
Aww, how'd you feel?!

Mine would have to be Hellraiser (and clones), mainly because they were fun, plentiful and I made a lot of money from them...and they were only £25jp, I do often daydream about them being £70jp with the same profile etc!

An honourary mention has to go to Trailblazer (Impulse), Maximum Overdrive (JPM) and anything BFM circa 2008 Q4.

The first 2 were the main protagonists which got me playing fruits on a regular basis and the BFM side of it helped give the game up - £15 for a board to be offered diddly squat too often was the straw which broke the camels back (also the birth of my second offspring helped my decision).

I do have a Hot Stuff which I play once or twice a week.

I believe Let The Good Times Roll and Fight Night have been emulated.

in no particular order

hotshot/ceasers
rat race/ace chase / clones
roller coaster/snakes n ladders / clones
fight night / great escape / italian job
cashbuster
red arrow
impulse/red alert
fruit cracker
simpsons/meltdown

if it has to be only one ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, probably 2p fruit cracker ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

the only machine from that era that had a massive gamble from 40p to £2 pot ,,,,,,,, it felt so good when you got it,,,,,,,,, and then occasionally it could hold up to 3 times , MASSIVE for the time,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, then living it like a king because your 8quid up ,,,,, catching the bus home (instead of walking as normal) with a 50p burger and a 1.99 mastertronic c64 game , with around a massive 5er left for a float the next day ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, yup for me the best fruit ever.

Games that you could win on with a little use of the grey matter.
Barcrests Overload and supercharged/cash attack spring to mind.

Duff Beer Guide for me - plenty of permutations for ripping a JP out of it- if you used your loaf could get there from all sorts of angles. Rarely ever got the top from actually reaching the end of the trail.
