So how did everyone get on over the weekend?

I made some schoolboy errors, I know better

I'll start.

Drunkenly decided to force Life's A Beach. showing naff all from the off (stupid beer). Managed to walk away £30 down after puttin in about £80 to see the bloody top feature for £50.

Stumbled over to BLing Bling. £5 in and red features / cash ahoy frequent boards. YAY!! £7 in i get £25 cash offered. Despite my mates best effort to make me take it - i declined as it wasnt a repeater. £10 later I get mega bling on red for a cool £75. Made up for losses on the life's a beach.

Later that night found myself forcing a Take Two. Showing £7/8 from the start. thought it would be easy as pie. how wrong was i. put about £80 in and left with nothing.

moral of fridays play - don't force reds when pissed :(

saturday i couldnt get out of bed was so hungover so didnt go near fruits.

sunday just made some random wins from pink panther, jackpots that rock n roll and a Bucket loads.

bucket loads offered £8 in LED first board but was too scared / sober to force. was i being a prat there? had another 5/6 beers and come home only spent £10. not bad really.

what did all you guys get up to?

Weekend was good for me! Played a pink panther for some quick beer money - £14 in £50 out! :D

Saturday night played a Bucket loads which after keying it, made a score on it but then with my surprise it offered a random super board which started on £3.40. Got top feature for a flat £25.

Played global's JTRR and lost £15 in that. I then smashed a DNA for about £75 which is all good! (I love this m/c!!!)

So overall, made about a ton! Happy days! :D

Went onto Party Time over 18 put in £35 to get £7, £3 in a Golden Game £5 to find it full takes £25 to get £40 back.....try for a board on Top Giza and it offers skill stop for £10 loses then takes £3 to get star choice on red (all red bar 2) take it and it offers £17.10 bonus 90p wooohhhoooo.

Move onto Mummy Talks drop it no run play all the AFU, VIU and SRM end up about £10 up after all them streaks and mega streaks.

Go onto a Stink King Rich £5 takes £15 to get top for £25 then onto a full Golden Game £25 play it out for a £55 flash off £40 in no roll.

Right lets go on a U.F.O £5 takes £3 to get a board and get £15 then Monpoly gives a £10 top off a £1 and rolls for £30 more, move onto the pub run with a nice float by now.

Find a Good old SSS (NMTJ) play the force as its offering £4 takes £50 to get SSS flat £25 £10 afters.

Made approximately £40 on online poker.

Unfortunately, I played it for about 20 hours, so that makes a return of £2 per hour. I'd have been better working (although I'd have had far less fun).

I realise this has hee-haw to do with fruit machines. However, it's all part of the rich tapestry of gambling which we love to weave.

Funny when mates say that, moan when you ask to borrow money to play with, funny thing is they soon come around asking for a beer when you have a decent win.

Not a bad weekend, made a cool £220ish yestersday, Pulsation £90 Top for £30 in, Lifes a Beach £15 in £100 out (Red FTF then a £75 top £3 later!) Rocket Money £27 in £75 out, Pink Panther £35 MS for £10 in, throw in a couple of TAW's and a loss of £30 on a SZ and returned a happy man. :D

anfield £4 offered on these SSS clones is not the sign to force ...hence you got a bit stung...

£6 is around the mark you wanted to be looking for i think mate

anyone agree that £4 is still a way off?

Not a terrible weekend here either, to sum up:

---Friday---

£25 in a Red Jackpot Gems - £65 out

£1 in a Global 'Greed' for £50 out

£30 in a Red Rocket Money for £25 out

£15-ish in a Red SnailBlazer for £55 out

£15-ish (had a few beers by now!) in a Global Casino Crazy (?) for £35 out

Span a few quid through a Cabin Fever for nowt.

Didn't touch my usual Top Giza / DNA combo down at the bowling alley, as I aspised a couple of lads who I know go for the 'hell for leather' force on those, so thought I'd save them for this Friday... ;)

This weekend i played 0 fruit machines so i made £0 but also lost £0

Played poker for a while online, the other week i actually won $450 odd from a $5 buy in on poker.co.uk. Came first from 345 ish people so not too bad and i would go as far to say maybe my best ever tourny.

Oh i did play the Vamp it up in the Demmerz Arms. Bastard to play though as the landlord has removed most of the lights, of course i still managed to make £30 on it as most of the people who go there haven't got a clue.

Talking of schoolboy errors, I went HIGHER than an 11 on Legal Tender last night whilst waiting for a train at Swindon station, and completely missed the '3 nudges' for the feature on Full Moon Fever about 10 minutes ago with the Selector bonus, ended up on position 8 on the trail. :o ops:

Gah, 'schoolboy' errors are annoying, and are performed, I'm sure, by the best of us!

Ballsing up a Skill Continue on slow is not fun. I only really struggled with these when the new Horizon cabinet came out - that start button is just not a friendly shape!

Or pressing the collect button on a new machine hoping for the cashpot / features, and not realising that it only collects the piddly £1.20 that you're on on the cash trail...

The main cause of this is certainly that old friend of yours and mine, crisp, cool beer! (In copiuos pints!)

:)

Nicky, on JTRR (Global) the five discs can be good, but in my opinion you shouldn't take it. Try and play for an exchange which offers the JTRR feature red then force from there. However, i have had the top feature 'normal' and it still go for £75 so who knows!

If its offereing you the five discs then its not at all far off in offereing the top feature.
