Spoons used be the least likely place to get barred from, i think they've all had there heads together, what is Ember Inns? chain pub?

What one was that ob? There's a couple of them near me.

Never had a problem in Spoons, ever - although I did have a barman scrutinising me when the Bexleyheath one had a working DOND DW. ;)

Yeah, and Embers Inn threatened to bar me too, apparently 'several guys like you come in every day and empty the machines and leave' :|

That's what the guy in the spoons in question told me, all the shift managers had a meeting and it came up about us - as soon as I mentioned the awesome words Head Office and asked him which site proposed the ban, he soon rescinded his words and switched on the fruits

Yeah Ember Inns is a chain pub, I think mainly southern based though. Quite a few around the South London/Surrey area.

Was in the north west kent area. Was pretty rubbish anyhow was a skulls, which has been there for donkeys years and was often useless.

Ironically before the time I got barred I'd pretty much given up with it, as it was so often miles off despite it always being full.

got the usual ''you can come in for a drink , but your not playing the machines '' today in a regular sweet pub .

she said the locals are complaining , that every time you come in , you leave with a jackpot''

tried to argue my case ,,,,,,,,,, told her i wasn't doing owt wrong ,,,,,,,,,,,,, which she said fair enuf but the regulars aint winning nowt ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so i asked her how often do i come in here ,? ,,,,,, she said every cpl of days ,,,,,,,,,,, i said that makes me a regular then dont it??? lol

it went back and fourth a cpl more times ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but twas ultimately pointless , she had made her mind up before i walked in .,,,,,,.bitch

wouldn't usually give a toss ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but was a empire an skulls .

scott passed em to me , and ive passed em on to george from coalville .

its not on ,,,,,,,,,,, when your playing straight ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but its the nature of our game i suppose .

jealously breeds contempt.

At least she gave you a reason of sorts Lee, all i got is a ''don't want you in lads'' to be fair i had a slight bit of heat in there years ago, if you can call putting a 2 inch screw in the keyhole of an Extreme heat.

Just keep passing it on till its get took out, theres plenty of people who would love that selection, especially in there, never had a bad time.

I just love the irony of these chain-pubs' advertising campaign about the £70 Jackpot and then them barring us because we actually obtained it!

Is it not similar to:

"Pie and Pint night: £4.99" on a huge poster and then you go and order it and have to pay a tenner? "Sorry mate, that deal is for regulars only?!" F**k off! ;)
