What do you do when you get aggro in a pub???

Ok, so a rough week in terms of getting barred from locations - seems I've had a fair bit of trouble this week which is a bit bizarre seeing as that's not usually the case.

I've tried everything from arguing my case (to no avail almost always), to just accepting it and moving on (which at least does help my temper). What do everyone else do in these spots?
And have people actually managed to argue their case to avoid being barred??

I have posted this before but, i have talked my way back in before, i offered him halves, which he declined, saying ''its illegal'' told him to stand and watch (which he did) put £3 in for £70, now we have an agreement that i can go in every 3 days, they have got 2 good Reds in so glad i talked my way back in, i always argue my case, i aint doing nothing illegal, this is the only time i've ever managed to talk my way back in though, i always pass on machines when i get barred.

dress start, look professional, buy food and a reasonably priced drink/s - no halves or J2o's - and don't go straight on the machine. I have a mate who carries a laptop bag around stuffed with old work papers to give the impresson he is a rep of sorts.
Go in with casual gear during the week - suspicious people will focus on you.

Lets be honest - how often have you watched some rep filling a machine and thought 'hehe that'll be in my pocket soon...'. Make your self look like a muppet and don't go in every day!

I think people find it hard to throw out/ban a chatty friendly face for no reason.
If you are always polite, dont rush strait up and punt, ask how they are/days been etc and SMILE. You are far less likely to get barred.

I think so many players are rude and have a bit of an attitude because they are half expecting to get thrown out. The 'what the fuck are you looking at' comments are not going to do you any favours.

Some morons deserve to get thrown out. Like it or not, a pub can bar you without a reason. All this throwing a machine over or launching a glass isn't the cleverest thing to do. You will just get a town/city wide barring.

deffo agree with that when i used to go in the spoons near me i used to wear work cloths (suit ) and i never got asked any questions always a smile and a hello what can i get ya, then when i got made redundant i used to go up there in casual and i will admit due to not havin a job i was in there probly every 2-3 days hitting the dealwheel and STC and it wasnt long before i was getting stares from bar staff and within 2 weeks i was asked to leave coz of keying by a girl who always played the machines she cudnt of seen me do it as the machine faced the doors (away from the bar) and no camera was onit she made it up becouse another friend of mine heard her braggn about it when i left (funny thing was tho is i had a key lol )

Gotta agree with the above 4 post, if u go into a pub and get a drink and hit the machine straight away looking all casual ur gonna get stares.

Me personal if i'm on my own or with my mates it's beer, read paper if on own or chat for a bit watch whats going on then hit the machines after a while ur not bring attention to ueself. Hence the reason on been barred from one place it 12years

Ok, saying your with a mate. you dont want to buy 2 pricy drinks and food just for a machine. say its flat? you now gota wait for that food and eat it. drink your drinks and leave.... 1 hour lost and about £20 - £30 down...

you could when finding a table walk near the machine and key it discreetly and if its dead just walk out, but what if its full and as your eating your food so you can get onit someone comes over and puts £2 in to get a £210 lol
