There's also 7 in the 'Spoons at Piccadilly Manchester.....and what a variety they have :-

and as for the wetherspoon shares price? will buying 200 more pubs across the country from other leading pub chains change the state of the buisness in some towns/cities?

oh well.... theres now a lot of empty buildings with sold signs on, wonder which are spoons's lol

if you cant beat em, buy em when they go down lol

yeah theres a rovers up the road by the big wheel, a moley and invincible in the same pub in the town centre.

a invincible in the rising sun.

the spoonses near me seem to have got their act together with regards to the quality of draught beer. for too long, a pint in wetherspoons was risky, now it seems largely quite good.
nobody ever wins on those things.

I quite like the whole spoons concept. And you always know exactly what to expect SWP wise. cheap coffee and the toilets are always very clean and unvandalised which is always a big up.

When they started out they were buying the "bin ends" - casks that were very near their date.
Due to sales volumes now, they have to purchase from the same wholesale supply chains that any other freehouse does, so it is quality stuff.
They seem to have got their celler care sorted now too, there may have been some problems with poorly trained or yo yo staff at certain times...
