the barman for not realising?, or the snooker player who fouled but didnt tell his mate coz he was too busy watching the toolers, and they were playing for a tenner ?

Mr A then goes to a amusement arcade where he has a random spinner machine where he knows he can put £2 in and at the last second drop in 10p and press collect,getting his £2 out and obtaining a £2 game for 10p After a couple of hours Mr A will have emptied said machine for all its contents.He leaves absolutely pissin his sen for the day hes having.The arcade owners refill it when Mr B walks in and he clocks it up for five and a half,collects and walks out leaving the arcade owners a grand plus down.Like i say Mr Mc and thanks for that the other day i just wondered which is a correct way to empty a machine?Its because there's always been a kind of hierachy(?)amongst players/toolers which i spose will never go.More comments appreciated on this,just interested in ALL views cheers.

Good stuff Mc Streak.

Tooling is quite simply theft.
Playing the program to its best or near best potential is cricket, tooling is not.

however , random bloke A goes to a p2 winstopper which he smashes and empties with ease and leaves leaving the barman with as little as 99p in the till for an orange juice.

where as random bloke B walks in with 3 rude boys orders 3 halfs of lager...

proceeds to wire or whatever the p2 stopper and empties it just the same as random bloke A , but this time has put £3.86 behind the bar.

may as well welcome the toolers least you get £3 plus back !!

i believe emptying a machine legally ( stopper for example ) is not theft but is certainly wrong morally ) but only in the landlords eyes , tooling is theft and is very wrong .. however i say this with baited breath , landlords only put machines in the pubs to gain off others misery ,, if people wanna tool then so be it it dont bother me unless there doing a good machine.

of course i cant choose what they do machine wise but its something that will probably always happen... i know many a tooler and actually get on with most of them ..... my main concern is that they think they are better than us and see us enemies ( not all but most ) and thats frustrating , they seem to hate us more than we hate them and i dont understand why.

in any case all pro players cannot justify themselves by saying they are completely fair down the middle as our gain somewhere down the line is another mans loss. personally though most landlords are idiots and i believe they deserve it... fuck em.... not all just most.however i do sympathise with them sometimes as there machines are in some cases there main income source , but its something i rarely think off as i walk off with a £70 profit.

random spinner is .... a very good cheat , think all arcades ought to be burnt to the ground anyway . surviving on other peoples habbits and wrecklessness is wrong.

but in answer to your question, its wrong but not theft , well what im trying to say is it wouldnt stand up in court. well i dont think it would anyway but i may be wrong.

toolers 100% illegal, bank details ceased etc
mtrs 100% legal if only button pressing, then theres your 'switch-offs', this i suppose is illegal in a court of law but most landlords will just chuck you out and barr you if caught

Random spinner was actually officially tooling, due to you using a 10p as your tool. However as your were not directly altering the actions of any mechanical elements of the machine it was known as 'non penetrative tooling' in the business.
