You can catch inbetween patches though. As the people going in and out of pubs is huuuuuge in london, they fill up so damn quickly, and you can catch em good!

I know Leicester Sq is apparently well covered, but last time i was there i rolled a Wobbler for £100+ and amde about £20 odd of the most daunting there. It's not all doom and gloom 8)

Il be down on the tuesday. I was reading on the back of my pass it says no under 18s will be permitted. i thought fair enough. then it says under that under 16s must be with an adult at all times. Dosent make much sense really?? Coaster as you know so much why dont you start your own fruit machine company called knowitall fruits, i think it would be very profitable.

Back from ATEI in one piece!

3 of us went down there. We weer all fairly excited going in, and to be fair, it wasn't anything special.

- No new barcrest AWPs
- Red gaming only had lucky devil / piggy bank / lucky strike club. Hardly mint new are they!

Saw a few new multiplayers (DOND everywhere) and slottos etc. We just spent about 20mins practicing fast stop n steps :D

Pretty disappointed overall! :x Nothing that grabbed ny attention at all. There was a new ant n dec DOND clone, a new pink panther bobby dazzler clone. That was about it for new fruits!

I agree it was a dissapointment, and the area around was pretty dead.

We saw jump in jackpots by barcrest acutally ina pub, surely this shoulda been at the ATEI?

Play machines oin free play gets boring after a while, especially wher theres nothing new to experiment with. SEtting up darts for RKO and hitting it from different angles gets boring rather quickly........

Ther was a monopoly mental-money-monsters clone, loads of club machines too.

What I thoguht was weird was that the barcrest group had no new m/cs but it had loads and loasd and loads of foreign m/cs!

Yeah forgot to mention the london gambling session.

All extremes were cack as you'd expect, but managed to prise in £15 on a Bling & Queen. Chased LS twice in liverpool street which made a bit. We also stuck £80 through a GADD before getting £90 back (£25, £50, £5, £10). That was about as good as it got really, quite disappointing. Add to that it was stupidly cold as well!

Just as well i managed to make another ton in the bowl here, RM again doing £75s for the second time in 3 days!

I've got one video and pic which i'll upload tomorrow morn! :D 8)

Thanks for reporting back, fellas.

You've made my decision for me .... I really haven't got time to go but was gonna squeeze an hour in tomorrow morning, but if it's that naff this year, I shan't bother.

Surely there must've been some good Whack-a-Gators?!

Not really nixxy.

There were lots of stunning girlies about the place though. Kept seeing spearmint rhino girls, as well as some fine ladies enticing punters to stands upstairs! :D

We had a dabble on some machines upstairs that looked like you could play properly. They were all exmpty though! I put £4 into a Bling King, won £5 and got paid £4. pickareel put £1 into an old global and won £3, which again only paid £1 and IOU'ed. Dunham chased a Red Hot X and made exactly what he'd put in back (£40). Lucky! :D

Again though, the selection of new fruits was shocking. There was a £35 jailbirds extreme, but again this aint really that new is it. I'm glad i went though.....a one day return from cambridge including underground is only £12, so it was a bargain pretty much! 8)

Everything you've mentioned is currently sited in numerous pubs, which is disappointing! The lack of a Jumpin' Jackpots on the Barcrest stand tends to suggest it hasn't passed test yet.

Spearmint Rhino girls .... Mmmmmmmmm.... <dribble>

Was it easy enough getting in this year? Just flash the pass and go in? Or did they ask any questions..

Yep, easy as you like!

I was only wearing jeans, trainers etc. Casual as you like. They just zapped the barcode on our passes and let us in.

Playing machines on freeplay isn't that much fun either. We just pretty much used it as a practice session, so it might be wotth going just for that! :D

Get good at your in the pink, stop n step, cash falls, cash countdown, It's a Knockout etc.

None of the people on the stands spoke to us either. I quite wanted to have a discussion about how crap some machines are! Interestingly, the DOND 4 reeler plays just as badly in freeplay as in the wild, dumping you on ? all the time and losing. Maybe its just bad programming and nothing is out on these? Was certainly just as boring playing on free. 8)
