I think we need to take the original post at face value - and note that the account of the trip as a whole made very good reading, but that the 'pint pouring incident' was an completely unnecessary blot on an otherwise clean copybook.
It would've been a wise move to NOT include it in the account, because including it effectively endorses it - it was a totally moronic thing to do and hopefully isn't something he considers acceptable behaviour.
I agree that there's no harm playing Games Media machines - you'd be risking a lot less taking one of these on than you might be by taking on a CLOT, or a COB. Neither are great options compared to the sort of machines you'd have taken on a few years back, but beggars can't be choosers these days.

Exactly nixxy, i don't see the problem with GM machines. When there's sod all else about, and loads of those dotted, you have to have a punt. I find them fine and make on them all the bloomin' time....take one on ready and 8/10 you win really. They do £105s miles more than any other manu, and very very rarely go flat £35 then stone dead. Of course you lose on them, but that can happen with anything. Don't really think it's spawn to make on these, SS/£5rp/4 strike/8 winspin ready take ons should net you wins really, where's the luck there? Finding them chase ready, knowing refills and the fact they ain't been done probably means i do better on them than most other chasers who probably have other people to deal with.

All the moderators on this site are doing the job out of the goodness of their heart and for the interests of the site. They do not get paid for their assistance with running the site and spend a lot of their free time doing so. I play these as well Matt, but when you get the +£12 board costs...ooooft! Not such a nice run down as P5, that MS isn't so sticky! Had you had £2 in the box, well I guess you'd have taken your £8 deal, but what about when £35 and MS anre still there? Eh? Still there? You know it's £2, £6, MS and you know it's the £2, but it offers £9.74 and you think uuuft, what a stingy, stingy offer, so you go no deal, willing that £6 to disappear but AAARRRGH!! The MS box goes. Poor run of the nap. Before you know it you're way in so that the £35 and £2 remain and it's a £14 offer, but you turn it down hoping for the swap, but no such luck.
