Mr McStreak wrote:I always strive to make £150+.The reason for this is because I have to pay a driver. It sickens me to be honest. I don't go out everyday, probably every other day. Twice a week I will expect to earn between 2-300, but after wages that figure goes down.

What can you do though? I'd get a driving license, but its probably cheaper to let someone ferry me around than buy a car, tax and insure it and pay the exhorbitantly high petrol tax. Plus I like a drink.
Not in the long run and a car always comes in handy!

putting the money on the back burner for a mo,

i stil dont think a lot of people appreciate the time flexibility/freedom that comes as part of the lifestyle ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, like others have said ,,,,,, i would sooner earn 60quid slotting than 100 being told what to do, and when to be there doing it

Topic would have been better as a weekly fruit wage as not sure about others but when playing for profit tend to aim for a weekly target depending on what doable machines are about, and leave it at that till following week.

Too many ups and downs going from a daily basis.

and another thing of course circumstances play a part ,

the man with a grand in his pocket is under more pressure to have a good day than the man with 200k in the bank

if its about what your happy with ( what your time is worth) then like i said 60 a day , 300 a week + should be more than adequate for anyone when you take the freedoms into account aswell .

£80 a day i am happy with , money goes nowhere these days though , took my lad swimming today and to a zoo, an ice cream a lolly and a pub meal later cost me near on £200 somehow.

lifes hard for people without a job or on minimum wage , i feel for them.

my uncle rang me tonight virtually begging to lend £20 for gas and electric.

we need to count ourselves lucky really.

Despite being in this game for 15 years professionally, and having had alot of tricks very early I have managed to save very little.
I have enjoyed a very frivolous lifestyle, and I am very grateful for everything. But presently I am content making between £500 and £1000 a week, and over the last week or two i've had to work fairly hard for it, because I don't drive. But what I'm eternally grateful for is the fact that i've managed to keep my life relatively complication-free. I don't have kids, and don't have a mortgage, therefore my monthly outgoings are kept to a minimum.

To the majority of people reading this, who have kids, my comments are going to seem shallow, as though I see kids as a drain on my resources and time, and to an extent you are right.I want an easy life, with little or no distractions. If I have made £600 by wednesday then I tend to take things very easy for the rest of the week. I still do enough to keep passing players from finding value where I am, but I don't over exert myself. This is because I can't be bothered. Its purely occupational for me, many players relish going out on a daily basis, pressing buttons, but I don't anymore.

A by-product of persuing this "chosen field of expertise" is that its left me consuming copious amounts of alcohol, to the extent where its could become a problem.I sort of look forward to going into rough pubs, because it gives me an excuse to have an alcoholic beverage. Rather unhealthy, but there you have it.
