You'll be pleased to know such a machine does exist and is emulated.

rollercoaster was JPM, test your strength was Jp and so was the other two features as well. If you hit a 12 or 11 on 1 of the add agains then it would just keep landing on add agains until the waltz or something and then you could hi lo for that good feature. Been ages since ive played on of them though!!!

Yeah, think it was 11 and add again 11 for the feature below TYS, then low for it. There was also the 12 add again one, too for Jackers. How good did it feel hitting the ? between Jackpot and the top feature and getting "Roll a number" off it. Class 8)

Did anyone use to f-up TYS >? I can mind doing it 2 or 3 times. Did your head in, especially as you could feel everyone watching you.. :?

That site is very good, but unless im very much mistaken, its not possible to get all versions of software. And the software that is usualy on offer is always the most up to date software which means in most cases its chipped. Or like the old ace machines i mentioned in my previous post they dont offer the £4.80 jp version, only the £6.00 or £3.00 which play completely different.

I cant say ive spent a lot of time on fruit emu or similar sites so if tere is a way of getting older software versions for the machines then someone please let me know as i would love to start collecting all the old empties.

Yep, think it was the Nemesis that would go huge :D

I buzzed up a Rollercoaster on emu so much by plugging it and stuff that when i got a top it never stopped  It got to about £140 when i'd had enough and turned it off!

If we're talking machines that were the most enjoyable to play (obviously whilst winning money) - rather than being the most profitable to play - I'd choose the following - in no particular order...

1. Simpson's Beer Guide - best machine of the licence by far, albeit a clone of Spartacash. Loads of rips, amusing sound effects, numbering - what more could you want?

2. Cluedo 6 pound jackpot - no lose gambles to get on the board, Motorhead's Ace of Spades soundtrack when you nailed a repeat, several easily obtainable skill games which could keep repeating. I used to own one of these - although it was a dodgy ROM in it that would only ever pay out jackpot through nudges.

3. Cash Ahoy/Gold Fever - Impulse 15 quid jackpot - red lines, super numbers and features... maybe I was always lucky when I stumbled upon these, but they were always up for a couple of jackpots - and the occasional hi-lo cash for around 55 quid. 8 quid win meant nudge timer for the jackpot every time. Occasionally went on a clearly signposted dead spell. Sadly unemulated.

Not forgetting 'NO more heroes' on Eastenders.

I AM stuffed!

Ok, ok, what's the wonderful 80s/90s track that accompanys the cafe feature?

We all know Happy Hour by The Housemartins is the Queen Vic/Rover's Return music. Motorhead, yeah, tick. Huey Lewis, tick. Stranglers, tick.

What's the cafe feature music?

That reminded me about a very similar (and much better) game from that era, Coronation Street.

It's got a wealth of early 90's dance and other treats... I've counted at least half a dozen so far, but there are quite a few more...

To start you off, there's Housemartins again, M/A/R/R/S, Spin Doctors and the Police.

Why thank you Cardinal, this has been bugging me for a long time now. It's a curious thing, this Maygay was made when? 1990? Nah, 92?, 94? 1994? 1993? I'm not sure exactly. I'll plump for 1993. Yet they sampled a song almost 9 years older than the machine.

Big wow you say, what's so significant about that? Well, later M1a Maygays used to just rip off whatever was in the charts at the time. With the exception of Inferno and Venus by Bananarama.

Yep

i) Happy Hour on getting Rovers Return at end of board
ii) Pump up the volume beat only on getting Puncture/Repair at Kev's Garage.
iii) Two Princes was background feature music
iv) Police - Dooo dooo daa dooo da da then that guitar when you pressed cancel.

Anally retentive knowledge in the extreme, BUT

nudges were 'Movin' on Up' by M People.

So that's five. I think pressing holds also played guitar samples from Dooo do doooo da da daaaaa (probably not called that!) by The Police.

Some dance track on getting that shortcut skill thingymy.

Over to someone else.....
