To be honest mate, it was only for two months, so I don't know. The bank didn't say anything on the subject and so presume it just means that YOU only have no access to it. My workmates account was supposedly frozen by them but when he used his card, he was able to get money out, so my guess is they just wanted to fuck you off, and never went through with the proper procedures to restrict his account.
The hole in the wall swallowed my card for my current account, was'nt bother about this, its just for my direct debits, as long as my ISA was still gaining interest for 10 months i'll be happy, if its just a case of i've not been able to access it if for 10 months then its all good.
