Every 70 I have seen has been a brand new machine. So it seems like the suppliers are spending big time, for what is essentially the same machine?!?

In tough times it is supposed to be only broken assets that get replaced :|

Are any of the big boys listed on the exchanges? Time to go short.

well I have just had delivered 2 x 70 pounders.

Alien and Double Deal Or No Deal.

The ddond went mega streak for £70 within an hour of being installed - the customer was playing a £1 a game - i think the machine said something like this will be the most perfect game - or similar.

The alien seems quite a good machine - gives lots of plays for your pound stake - but that bloody bonus keeps giving me the alien symbol and killing me !!

Will let you know next week if income has increased or decreased on these machines now they have been changed to £70.

I meant the consecutive 2 or 3 GATWs so that would be £140 / £210 within 2/3 boards? If that's not what you meant... ;)

I wouldn't bet against the digital eraser being wiped over that bit of code...

I meant it will most likely be capped at £70
So no more 2 or 3 GATW's

The consecutive GATW's were based on credit through the machine though aren't they, so until there has been XXX amount of games played no one will have seen them yet if they are still in there. I think Mr Red could be right though.

Heh, if two weeks ago we'd have predicted that the biggest single win on a £70jp would come from a Big Reds, I think we would've all had ourselves sectioned under the MHA!!!

Visiting my folks in Deavon this week. Poped into Wetherspoons for a breakfast, tried a board on 4 machines while waiting for the food- £60 down.

I have my first available time slot to have a look for the £70s tomorrow. Sadly 'Milk', that seems to be the story for so many people on here.

I'm still going to go on a pub tour - but will stick to pints and the occaisional quizzer, unless there's any good £35s still remaining. There's quite a lot of old / free-hold / tucked-away pubs around this way, so hopefully will still find some £35s... :( :|
