I haven't put a penny in, but wouldn't deposit cash if it wasn't ringfenced. My job involves Finance so had a sneaky look on the Companies House database for some background.

Where exactly is Cypress?

I've heard of Cyprus...

The raving smileys were admittedly highly amusing, but aside from that i feel you are overly sceptical.

We are respectable and we didn't expect to snap our fingers, neither did we expect them to interpret legislation the way they did, which was not in our favour but there is a work around. This has been a year's worth of work and we ain't giving up now. We'll get there, but unless you have been through what we have been through, and committed your own house to this, and just want to make smart arse comments, then I suggest you shut the fuck up.

And hopefully beat testing will be this week or next, that's where the real work is. And the guy who claims a child could have built that site in a morning, my how gifted your children are. And how good your X ray vision is so you can see through the graphics and understand our random number generator, age verification software, credit card and banking software, fruit machine engine, database, communication's engine and the other million things that can only be built in a morning if you are called Mr God.

Apologies for being miffed but everyone's so damn free with the wisecracks. I guess this isn't the place to come for encouragement!

A challenge! The site is just the holding page, not the site. Calm down dears, it's only a fruit machine site. The one you see disappears once launch happens. We're daft, just not that daft.

You sure there is a market for this Peter? I am not sure how far you would get with under 16's with this as it promotes gambling and any over 16 will probally want to goto the arcade and play real machines for real money, heck theres even virtual machines imitating real ones for free on the internet why would people want to play some made up stuff that has no relevence to the real world, quick look and the game play is quite old aswell.

Hats off to you if you can make a success out of this

Maybe you should have a news section, Peter. Betfair started with a unique product like these and look what they've done.

There is a market for this yes, whether we make it or not is a different matter, and yes, all money is ring fenced and we can't touch it as it is also protected by one of the big bank networks. Profit? Who knows, but what the heck, in deep enough now anyway and some big players are interested too so we reckon it's a goer.

It's not the site, just the holding page. It will disappear once launch happens, there's a lot more behind this than you can see. Enjoy your beer.
