Unfortunately dealing with thick people is very much a part of playing machines, whether it be misinformed arcade attendants or even the police.

The only way to deal with it is to laugh to yourself.

No mate i was just interested in what it was as you never know its a possability that any of us could come across one in the wild, unlikely but possible.

as far as i was aware it was a critial update, and as they were still in pretty early distribution i think they all got chipped or skipped.. so sharing this shouldnt turn too many heads..

the nudges square on the board would give a random amount of nudges, but obvously if you needed 3 for a win it would give 2, or 2 nudges needed it'd give 1 etc..

basicly get a board, get to a nudges square, hi lo it to get and use nudges to get jp 2 away on reels, hi lo on the nudges would hardly ever lose as long as you made sure "the pants werent going to be on the line" (sounds quite funny that)
once the jp was 2 nudges away, keep hi loing the nudges and canceling them till you got a 1 or 12 (which is basicly 2 nudges) then bring the pot in...

the nudges didnt bank, and the hi lo's always seemed to work as long as you were with the odds...

fastest empty could literally be 10 minutes and triggered from £1,
slowest empty was when you got one pot and it refused to board for £50...

worked best in spoons and or other pubs where the volume was off, made one hell of a noise in quiet pubs, the sound fx were great, but too loud and cheeky, plus getting 15 jackpots usually attracts the attention of everyone in the bar..

empty lasted about two weeks and there was a way of telling a chipped one in attract mode, cant remember it now though

back on topic, at the minute on departure side, east midlands airport has basicly one of each of the deal or no deals on various stakes/jp's, a £35money spider, £5 holey moley and a couple of £35 barcrest shite machines.. cant remember which they were though.

Had some class results on ferry fruits the last few days. Went to the Isle of Wight festival which was blindingly good, got a ferry from Southampton - East Cowes, which takes about an hour to cross. 3 fruits, SMTM, OAR and OTB. Made £60 from OAR and £40 from SMTM on the way out, and yesterday on the way home the SMTM was off, but OAR there for another £40 uppage. Any players on the Isle Of Wight? Can see a nice little ferry day return for a tenner being worth it if you've got the time.
