Yates' in Bolton currently have a Big Reds, Jiggy Bank, Cop n Robbers and a Here and Now. Not the greatest set of machines but it always has customers who play them - maybe it has something to do with the barmaid who has a massive set of norks which are always on show.
Proper good set of swingers, honest.

A nice set of well-presented funbags always aids access to a pub!
I am aware of two venues close to me where Right Said Fred tends to go for a Bacardi and Lime...
Anyway, the Yates' at Bexleyheath closed down about a year or so ago (maybe a bit longer) and is now a 'one-off' pub. Machines were always crap in there anyway.

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
Rocket, I tend to visit Bolton maybe only once, possibly twice each month, maybe even less after the crock of shit I found last Friday. Not so long ago it was a definite weekly trip as there was a lot of goodness (there may still be, but not in the places I frequent). At the moment the highlight of Bolton is a Vortex, a PCB 2, an Addams Family and I found a Spooky Hollow t'other day.
I can understand how you like drink in your home-town, f*ck me, within 5 mins walking distance you have a Last Orders, a Spoons, a Yates', the Flying Flute and Barracouda - all pretty cheap plus there's probably others I haven't mentioned. Btw, do you drink in Varsity? If so, have you seen the sign above the machines which I mentioned a while back.
Not a bad town all-in-all, I've never had any grief whilst playing there and the yocals all seem freindly enough. Oh yeah, one last thing, I was a student there (97-99) so I can also vouch for the nightlife and standard of ladies too!

Yeah Nick, both machines are next to each other at the back of the pub with the sign above them. I typed up exactly what it said word for word but I'm no good at pasting links.
What pub are taking over Rocket? Is it central or out of town and more importantly, whats your position in relation to 'bigger boys' emptying your machines (with half a coke between three of 'em)?

I do go in Varsity but don't tend to play the machines - last time I did I'm pretty sure here was a money spider and a vortex there. Or was it a DOND? Haven't noticed the sign though!
I'm looking at taking over the Carters Arms, it's only a small pub out of town. We've never had a problem with people (except me!) emptying the machine in the past, but they've always been old machines and there for a long time (we have had Lucky Strike for about6 months now). IF I take over the contractor will change so we'll presumably get newer machines with more frequent changes.

And Nick,
I'm looking at taking over to begin with on a tenancy-at-will. Seems the safest bet to me. Much lower rent and I'm not tied into anything should it go belly up. There's a chance I could lose a couple of thousand, but If I do have to pull out, at least I'll get my deposit back, plus I can flog off all the stock I've got to shell out for and they'll owe me a months rent which i have to pay in advance.
