I think you will find the statue you are refering to is that of Isambard Kingdom Brunel... I know he built bridges, railways and ships, but so far unaware of any 'chocolate factories'. The pub i think you are refering to changed their bandits months ago.

Correct, Brunel masterminded the Clifton suspension bridge - quite a feat of engineering, don't look down.

And yes, echoed, the gem he is referring to is not there any more.
