Bigv, you've just hit the nail on the head in a seperate topic (RED GAMING : Naughty Invincible). In your own words it was fake backing and you got lucky, if this was me and I had put £40 in and got a flat £35 top I'd have walked knowing I was lucky to only be a fiver down, and do you know what, I wouldn't have given it a seconds thought that I have brought a streak £5 closer.

I can turn over a tidy profit taking quick steals, getting lucky now and again, and I do believe it is increasingly becoming a case of 'right place, right time' as there is very little skill involved nowadays.

As a casual gamer I am not going to clear £1k per week but as long as I don't go on tilt and take food out of my daughters belly and clothes off her back, I will continue to enjoy fruities and the comments of others. :)

I've been gambling for years. Became addicted. Then I found this site which helped. I started to stick to a couple of machines, one of those being jailbirds. This month I was about £150 up which wasn't bad. I was doing this through forcing it. Most times I'd win about £20 - 30 a machine then once I got £60 profit.

Anyway this Tuesday i got greedy and played a machine just less than a week after taking £70 off it. Anyway it caught me off guard and it took about £200 off me so I have decided to hit the casino and chase it which lost me another £200. Decided that its hard not to get sucked in so i a gonna lie low for a while. To be honest I can't be arsed playing them. i have other things i'd rather do with my time.

Good luck everyone.

Thinking I may be forced to try some new machines soon, out of 3 I play, 1 has been swopped for a Deal or No Deal 4 reeler 25p 3reel/50p 4 reel play, and one of the pubs looks like it's closing down (has been shut Tuesday and Today, not good signs).

Looks like my little bandit run is coming to a screeching halt, 4 to 5 months is pretty good though.

C'mon Alcozar you haven't got an ASBO or a curfew, have you?

Go into Manchester City Centre. Hmmm, Deansgate, Piccadilly, The Printworks, at least 5/6 Spoons/Lloyds Bar and every other pub chain there is, plus a couple of decent arcades.

You could even go down Canal St, there should be plenty of bandits around that way.

Like to play locally as usually have a few drinks while playing the machines (less distance to make it home), plus i have a good idea of the best times when to play nearby machines (don't know what the score when you travel further).

I would not recommend Manchester City Centre to someone
You can make here but its well covered just like any other major city

You're not wrong MrRed the centre of M/C can be exceptionally hard to win, especially Reds ( but surely all major Cities are covered, where do you draw the line?). The thing I am getting at is you are limiting yourself by just playing in your local town as there are so many new machines that can be sited there, buy an allday bus ticket (unless you drive) , start early - finish late, you never know you might find agolden oldie or better still an unchipped machine which aint covered.

What I'm trying to say is Broaden Your Horizons.

What i meant was to someone who may not know everything about streaks, signs, refills, when last done etc... it best not to go to a city centre
I make good from my town centre and surrounding areas anyway

Think i'm heading to the dark side, can't seem to stop feediing/losing on crappy machines atm, wasted £120 roughly in last 2 weeks.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.... had very mixed results this month (currently breaking even but need to remember to walk/run when up, just not been willing to lately).

Just today for example original 20p/30p £25jpot 4 reel DOND did me for £68 in total when i know i could/should have walked about £14 up, getting too greedy for big money wins atm.

Wondering whether i need to go cold turkey for a while.......
