When you say worth it, what do you class as worth it?

Checked about 20 and 2 good for a tenner profit, one good for a fiver.

mostly I find them "low" and "not ready", or either one of those things which makes them not worth it

Quick story about this actually. Popped into my local betting shop and they were all 'low' and 'not ready' surprise!

Anyhow there are two other people in the shop and £20 on one of the FOBT terminals. So hmmmmm what's the etiquette here then?

I ask them if they've been playing on the FOBTs and both say no. So ok, it's not their money. So I watch the racing on the top of the terminal and 10 minutes pass, 15 and there's no sign of anyone.

So I whack the lot on black..........tsuytauytsduytauydtuyastduyastduytasuyd (that's the noise of the ball) it's black. Hmmmmmm. So do I cash out £40 and leave £20 in?!? lol

Now it'd be nice to make a half 1'er so it's £10 on red.......(rattly noise)...black again (5 blacks! - totally rigged ;) )

Then £5 on black (go with the wheel) and it's red....D'oh.
£25, quarter ton. Still ok for piss all investment. Print receipt and I'm outta there. Quit whilst ahead.

Was I naughty? Is it like playing off a credit on a fruit machine? Is it normal to leave £20 in a FOBT and wander off for ten hours?

I guess not. Anyone else had such luck?

I dont play machines/fobts nor will this interest me in doing so, so please dont be shy!

And as for me the "idiot" comment... lol if only you knew mate, if only you knew
Sorry please accept my apologies, I must have missed the bit in the rules where it states sense of humour not allowed.

That was my money. I had just wandered off for a short while i looked for a prostitute. Please arrange to transfer my money (and the winnings you obtained, as these are rightfully mine too) total of £40 through PayPal immediately.

You're giving it away free? It must be dead around your way!
Wowser. I should have waited for three weeks rather than pay for it back then. Not used it much. Made about £55 back on it. Slow stuff. Not something you'd rush to play, especially not with things how they are. I mean you spend 1/2 hour to win £5 and then go and play your favourite fruit and make £30 in five minutes and think it's pretty pointless even bothering with roulette. In some shops it's worth a look now and again, but in others it's not as either all the locals barely play it bet low, or someone is 'doing' them. You can't even sell it on Ebay - you'd be swamped among anonymous roulette systems. There's still value, just low value. However, this is one thing I probably shouldn't have bothered with.
Where are all the lunatics who bet £200 a spin and leave just at the right time? What's your biggest hit? Mine is about £20 and that was only as I was a bit flukey on certain numbers.
Only really useful for changing up copious coins and not having cashiers moan.
