The local supermarket is about 4 minutes away from my house on foot. There's a Ladbrokes and a Bet Fred between me and it. Find it hard to walk past them.

update - over two months without a gamble for me now and i've paid one of my credit cards off.
in the last few years it was the combination of playing machines in pubs of an evening weeknights along with a beer that made me realise i'd had enough (generally making about £50-£80 each eve) which sounds great except i'd have a blowout on a roulette machine and do £500-£1000 regularly.

good luck to those who have the discipline, but i don't think i have, so hopefully a gamble-free life for me.
i still pop on here for a nose and as always i'll like to know what machines to look out for (if only to tell people still in the game)
