I use Quaker Large Flake Oatmeal with a bit of water and then in the microwave for 3 minutes on medium. Add a bit of milk and that's it. Some people add salt during the cooking but I think there is enough salt in foods to begin with. I don't have jam or honey or sugar just a whole banana chopped into slices. How about you Sir Linesman?

I have Flahavan oats, with a ratio of 1:4 (oats and semi skimmed milk) It isn't the healthiest version but I do prefer it thin and milky. I do it on the hob stirring continously to achieve the texture I desire. I finish with blueberry/raspberry jam or Grade 10+ honey and occasionally with a pinch of cinnamon sugar. Also put chopped bannana, berries and various forms of seeds in depending on how I'm feeling.

Regards, Sir Linesman
