Some things like fruit and vegetables and other groceries are quite expensive in M & S so it doesn't really make sense to do the main shop there as it would work out quite expensive on a regular basis. We often buy meat from M & S and we like some of the deserts, cereals etc, we always buy tangerines from there as well as they tend to be plumper and sweeter than the ones you get in other places.
Ah I see. Thanks for clearing that one up. I have the same problem - I use Asda for fruit and veg, Waitrose for the olive bar and M&S for a few other bits and pieces. Those seafood casseroles they do are very nice, and also the chicken and red wine casseroles, both 6 or 7 quid each. I also like their salt and pepper pretzels and fruit tartlets. Mind you, Tesco do a chicken dish - 4 chicken thighs with pearl barley, mushrooms and leeks, which is also excellent and great value at £5.50. Takes me ages to do the shopping on Thursday after I've finished work for the week I can tell you.
