Never waited for more than 24hrs in a spoons for a payout but that was before gamestec took most of them over in the southwest so guess that wont be the case when they next owe me money

The only spoons I had a problem with was a shitty perfect deal, as soon as its bank goes over 200 it auto pays out but don't pay out. I couldn't be bothered with the hassle so just let them keep it.

Sure have. You give them your mobile number and they don't ring you. You go back and its a different shift manager who says they know nothing about it. I find having to go back and ask for it more than once starts to get a bit undignified.

IOU of £33, got the usual name and number bullshit, switched it off, went back for last orders and it was back on, manager spots me and goes all coy saying the technician had been out and fixed it but he's got wait for the collector to come out to it to verify the payout ??

I've stopped leaving my real name for gamestec IOU's, call me paranoid but i'm sure they check your name and number with their files, so if they recognize you they don't pay up, and worse still they fill the landlord/ladies head with bullshit.

I reckon its best to just leave a false name and no number, get the shift manager to write his name and the amount on a piece of paper and go back in a few days, i had shit in a Spoons yesterday, absolutely fine in there till this one jealous old fart decided to inform the the duty manager "he's one of them" and "he knows i'm watching him" watching what??? I told him what a miserable old bastard he was on the way out too, someone said a few months ago that Spoons were gonna go fire, its a shame that managers can't distinguish between someone who plays a game fairly and a thief!!!!
