He certainly couldnt on the old board but there is upgrades/hacks/add ons etc that allow for admins to read pm's on vbulletin boards

The only way an Admin has the capability of getting at PM's is via hacking your account, which wouldn't go un-noticed because it would require over-riding passwords, so basically if you try and log in 1 day and your password doesn't work it's time to worry lol

Nah theres hacks out there that send all pm's to a folder which can then be read by admin.
Unethical but its possiable

hacks in regards to vbulletin is just a word used in the scene regarding other options for your forum not hacks like most of us know.

Vbulletin being one of the more popular software encourages a lot of clever fuckers to dream up various things to make a forum cooler

oh and thats just for vbulletin an admin of your board gambo could pull up members private messages in seconds...... this is why people should read and delete

I'm the only Admin of jackpotty, everyone else are moderators although I'd trust them all if they were Admins, and everything any Mod/admin does gets logged anyway.

Doubt there's much to worry about in PM's over there though, except for 1 member ripping people off who's been dealt with.

IM sure if I really wanted to I could look up messages in the database somewhere.

But... you may have noticed I dont post about fruit machines, I stopped playing a few years ago and dont have a lot of interest in them anymore.

Its up to everyone wether or not to use the PM function, its there as a feature but doesnt have to be used. I also assure you that neither the moderators or myself have access to any PM's and I dont intend to even try and look.
