All the £25 methods mentioned were top earners, best being Vivid/Pecks/Extreme.

Glad someone mentioned Screamin Demon, Cashino was also a top game, can't believe I've never seen it mentioned on this forum.

What about Reds? The same method manifested itself in various incarnations for 3-4 years......surely a top earner for most.

Pretty much every £70 method has dwarfed all of these in earnings though.

INVINNNNNNCIIIIIIIIIIIBBBLEEEEEEEEE! Cashino was a classic, used to enjoy playing them. Demon also had an invincible on it, I didn't believe it till I saw it myself, some random got it to flash and it went for 75. Guess it never had the chance to get in that state when playing for the nudge setup...

So was first prog the one that flashed the little extreme dude every press after JP when it was going? Only ever saw a few that did that, but thought you could still get them off the setup?

Don't think you could get em off setup, that was a later method for prog 2 only I think. First prog was like Cashino, streaked all the time.

It seems like a long time ago now! Trying to remember what else they did around the same time, Bubble + Squeak is the only other decent one that comes to mind...

Yeah Bubble & Squeek came a little bit later, another excellent game. When people talk about Extremes everyone seems to forget the original series. I had a Bubble & Squeek in a pub with strippers. Sure Ahmad knows the one.

I've also just remembered Noterunner / Jackpot + The Beanstreak from the same sort of time. Not the greatest by any means, but fairly reliable for a £50 top on the force. I recall Noterunner once lighting the 3 chickens (ha!) on a dead board, it went right across the top for the £100, only ever saw it do that once.

The ones that followed weren't so great, Double Dragon, Jolly Roger and "25" always seemed like hard work. Was that Super Pool thing them as well? I'd forgotten they'd made so many games!

Original Extremes were indeed great fun! I think Maygay did a clone of those Beanstreak games, called Bankraid - recall getting a ton top off of one of those and being threated with a bit of marmite-digging in the gents!!
