Getting dodgy looking coins that can go back in are no real big deal.
Getting the ones that will not go back in are a pain. Ages ago I got 2 dark coloured coins out and upon closer inspection I noticed that there were in fact lead. Tried telling ye olde barman to swap it but he politely informed me that there is no way that come out of there because it can't go in!

Those fucking barmen are as thick as shit! As if the only way the coins go in the hopper is through the slot! Bent collectors do this all the time, swap real coins for fake then chuck them in the hopper when they've finished their counting and go off to rip another pub and its customers off. They deserve everything they get, those companies.
ITS A FUCKING DISGRACE I TELL YOU!

To talk much and arrive nowhere is the same as climbing a tree to catch a fish.
Ah but they are in the know! They have a source - the Engineers - who told them this, so it must be true.... Really would not surprise me if the collection women were going around doing a quick swapsies on dodgy coins. Who would ever really find out?
On which I got told once that I was fiddling the machine because the Engineer told him that the machines aren't programmed to pay out more than one jp a day!
To which I told him if I put £500 in and win my jp of £70 how has this reached the minimum target % and does that mean I must come in tomorrow for a repeat chance???

I also got a lot of 20ps etc paid out out hoppers instead of £1 coins. Engineers blatantly do this on purpose to save a few quid, and in most places, you've got zilch proof the machine did it, and are therefore up shit creek with regard to getting your rightful pound. Tossers.
