Me and a well known London player were in for a 35 red, he keyed it and for some reason left the key in the slot for a minute.

We were on the board and a random drinker came over, took my mates key out and went back to his group of mates. Didn't have a clue what to say or do??
Bored of the grind.

Cue that old classic Shaggy song..."It wasn't me!"

Was playing an extreme in a nice quiet pub, and suddenly <CRACK!!> the chef hits me round the back of the head, then started piling into me. The landlady came over, and the chef started swearing saying I was ripping the machine off. I was shaken up, and at one point thought I might even pass out. I wasn't even keying it. The chef then burst into tears, proper tears as well. The landlady sent him home and then came back and apologised profusely, but was clearly as bewildered as I was as to why it happened. I guess he must have played it alot and done his dough, but it wasn't even that ready. Didn't realise at the time but he hit me with a salt shaker. I was fuming about it for days, but felt a bit sorry for the bloke as whenever I ate in there the food was spot on, and they let him go after that.

A friend of mine was in a Spoons involved in a red which was situated near the toilet door. Some bloke came rushing past him, clearly desperate for the toilet. So desperate that he had trailed shit across the pub, and people had inadvertently trodden it into the carpet creating a nauseating smell which left my friend gagging for the duration of his session.
