When the kids are playing video games on Coronation Street , you get samples from Defender, circa 1978.

Also have yet to see machines payout on attract mode (though once had a machine left on test payout 10p, 50p, 20p token, took ages to empty lol).

Eastenders horse racing themed was ' place your bets' , simialr to top tenner , ten out of ten etc etc. the current corrie offering(its been there about 3 years) is the voodoo gaming ' cash blast?', at least thats what i think its called. utter dross.

They seemed to have had the golden dragon theme music in eastenders for about the last 10 years!!

I think they are generic sounds from old 10p/£4 BFM machines like Cash Explosion etc

There's a Twighlight Zone in the pub in on of the Fast Show sketches. Where the bloke tells the punter to 'Hold the bell - it usually comes in' and the 'Oh that's strange' etc when it doesn't!

Best bit is Twilight Zone was an ACE machine so didn't have bells! - Just Bars Sevens and Boxes

pony express in hollyoaks saw someone get a jacpot it showed the reels of a totally different game a project game i think, the sounds it made was even better like a fruit from the u s of a in the 80s
