why not go for "el gordo" and supercharge it up to a one megapound jpt?
you could have 40,000 lines all played similtaneously on fractions of 1p for a payout tray shattering sum of 1 and six zeros. it could be the future of granny rinsing coin op "entertainment" and carry the slogan"it could be you"......
memo to tessa jowell: have you had the neighbours round for tea and scones yet love?
I heard a local arcade manageress state they had got 2 1k jackpot machines delivered the day before. I interrupted and said surely thats illegal, apparently not. I asked why and was told players (aka arcades!) hate £1 per spin as jackpots are rare and play has reduced from £2 days, and it's 'killing' the arcades.......
Poor diddums' how did they ever survive BEFORE s16???
i think that before sec16 entered the market (to sounds of rapturous applause by many operators) ,operators bought new equipment to improve their offerings to joe public in a different way,i.e a wider spread of new gear so as to appeal to a larger audience. since the introduction of sec 16 the family offering of most arcades has seen a lesser investment in new machines, while more and more of the budget is spent on sec16 wallet busters. the greed factor comes in to play here ," mr jones down the road got barcrest triple 7 multi cabinet! i must have one to compete!" .
as some of these games carry 6k+ price tags its easy to see why other areas of an arcade suffer.

I wonder if these new BACTA-busting law-avoiding sec16/b3 1k jackpotters are going to be 'random'??
I suggest to prove me and PMK right, that they will be compensated, so play them when BRAND NEW and on first day or two and you'll find a payout in excess of 100% until they settle to their normal 'random' EPP shit play.....
I think fruit machine manufacturers and arcade owners need to realise why players aren't playing the machines as much as before. A major reason is bookies roulette machines, and also to an extent internet gambling.
Most gamblers have an understanding of odds, so a lot choose to play these FOBT games with house edge of only a couple of percent instead of old fruit machines that pay much less, and even B3's only have a target of 92%. If they are really suffering and want to compete, why not make games pay 95-96%? Give people more reason to play and the cash turnover will increase.
you know there is no reason for the companies to say they are random if they are not these days, as compensated machines on 500jp are now fine!!!
Why would they bother saying it's random if it isn't in that case, it's not as if most munters actually know the difference anyhow, so no need to lie...
The new astra double play is compensated btw, where you can gamble all ur wins on a double/nothing basis (reel king etc.), expect these to prop up everywhere... infact every other company BUT crest are making compensated £500's now.
crests 777 cabinet allows gambling of all wins but still states in full screen tripovision that it's 100percent random . with the chance of losing every award given(even features) how would this little magic box have the right to state any kind of average ? anyone got experience of this machine? ive seen it played ,ive seen it gambled ,ive seen it lose, lose, lose, lose, lose.
is the gamble "fixed"? or is the machine actually 100percent random?
the cms chameleon can be gambled via the wins you achieve being converted to super spins of upto a tenner, the wins are ramped up on superspins to make the "gamble" look attractive. seen this turn 50 quid into nowt in a matter of seconds a couple of times.
the chameleon is compensated so i can live with this. iwould expect it could be forced under the right conditions,or at least a nice lump returned.
but the triple7 seems somewhat dubious to me.
If these new 1k bastards are new progs/cabinets GET ON THEM FOR FIRST DAY OR 2 TO MAKE +100% PAYOUT WHILE THEY HIT THEIR COMPENSATED LEVEL, IF STARTING AT 50% LIKE PMK SAYS OLD ONES DID,WILL MAKE A QUICK KILLING BEFORE THEIR 'RANDOMIMITY' KICKS IN...........

They only say 'Compensated' on the front because of the way the Lucky Loser gamble bonus works. The rest of the game is random.

on CMS machines I can assure you that isn't the case, as I have had jp twice, and the following spin has been a £50+ win on both occasions, and might I add, £50+ wins are VERY VERY rare on the machine. If anyone has played a jp out on the £35 versions, watch how it keeps doing a £20-30 spin the spin after jp, which can go on for a while (ie. £150+ banked). Unforturnately gambling the £50+ wins after the jp's hasn't got me anywhere....

I'm talking about Astra's Double Action Slotto only. Sorry, should have been more clear ops:

Those £50 wins straight after the jackpot sound a bit naughty - game links are forbidden on B3 machines...
mr lugsy wrote:if you play 500jpts regually ,would any one agree that if it drops ,it drops sooner rather than later ? i.e within the space of your first 20 quid , elvis being the most prevalent example, only twice have i been stuck well into this machine and then got it. many times i have had and seen jpts straight away, on 4 occasions rolled in 1st go , but rarely after a wedge goes in.
i am going on hols to sunny skeggy on friday for the week, i know there is a £500 elvis machine on site there, 4 player sit down thingy, anyone got any tips please, should i play 50p, £1 or £2 a go, cheers in advance.
you should play 1 pound spin as its the only stake now on the 500 version.also id be very surprised if you find an arena that hasnt been made into the 35 pound ,50pjoey version(a different "game" entirely). if you find a 500jpt dont get stuck into it,go 20 quid max then leave it from my experience it is improbable that youll get the biggy after this.
there are many people on here who will try and tell you that this machine is 100 pecent random, but i will not be doing this. if you are lucky enough to get a jpt you will also get a bit of afters usually.

Afters?? Of course, on 'random' machines......
Anyway, DO NOT EVER GAMBLE WINS on the new 500+500 jackpots b3/s16's.
If 'random' you'd have 50-50 chance, but it is NOT 50-50!!!!
Your win is illegally pre-decided, AKA Fairplay's UK allegations on the mpu4/5 program machines.
DON'T DO IT! Take ALL wins!
