Christmas week we bought a couple of bits in the supermarket and used the self service checkout, the woman in front of us bought a few items paid with a 20 took the loose change and rushed off leaving the 10 spot behind........I chased after her and gave it to her - too damn honest (for a scouser :P )!
My mate did something similair - there was a huge queue for the cash machines so he bought a bag of sweets for 30p, went to the self service checkout and asked for £20 cashback. He then picked up the sweets and walked off, leaving his cashback in the bottom of the machine!

It disappeared, but then bizarrely enough 3 days later he was using one again and someone equally as gormless had left a tenner in it. At least he made half his money back!

Found £20 credit on a FOBT. None of the regulars claimed it. Most unusual.
Gambled it to £25 and cashed out.

My (skunk smoking) mate went to a cash machine to get his mum her £200 keep for the month. And would you believe it the silly little bastard only took his card and forgot to take the money.

it was only an hour later whilst he was sitting down having his tea that his mum asked him for it and he realised he didnt take it out of the bottom. This made me laugh, He legged it up the shop in the hopes that it would still be in the machine or someone had handed it in

Luckily the machine took it back, as no one was around quick enough to take it (what are the odds a busy row of shops aswell). So it was refunded back to his bank.

All machines display how much is needed to be full. It's just that some reds more recently have about an 8 second delay before it reveals the amount.

I found £250 in the payout tray in the bingo hall opposite work. I wasn't really thinking and said to the woman "look at that", she said "thanks, I just emptied the machines and left it in there". Thought about it later and it's a regular earner with the GGG's, so would have probably given it back anyway.

She did give me a bottle of Castle Bingo "champagne", which I also gave away to a nearby old sailor, he seemed very pleased.

Is the amount required to fill only displayed on reds? Sounds like slack set up by engineer. All my machines will only allow volume etc without door open. Thought this anti key measure had been around for a long time? Then again maybe not,
will try it out, ta!

8 dog seconds or 3 normal seconds.
