Most repeats...
Most repeats...
Just something happened tonight that got me thinking...
playing a £5 money monster, which had clearly been played by someone that didn't like having money before me. well anyway the story ends up i got a JP that repeated six times, for a total of £35.
so i was thinking what is the biggest number of times anyone has ever had a JP repeat... at any stake, from the £2jp days to now, i expect some old timers had a fair few £4.80 repeats.
Also what about repeats from other values, i had a £1 win repeat 13 times on a bellfruit, forget the name.
Regards

big wins
brainwaves 10 jp repeat 8 times trafford centre in 2000
Wow. Very hard to believe that, mind you Up 'n Over was a funny one.
£105 top + £1 on an old £10er. Quite something.
I wouldn't have believed it myself, but wow, it must be true. Did he lose £700 in it first without taking anything?
Myself. Well 49 £1+repeats on a Trivial Pursuit, but this is jp repeat. Hmmmm. £40 on a £5 Jiggin' in the Riggin.
That's 7.
Actually on Bully's Prize board had a 7 jackpot streak £35+£35+£105+£35+£35, with one ten pound board amongst that lot. Cost £160 from fullish.
"You can't lose" flashy red bullies.
A few £75s on the old £15s. Well a couple.
A few £50s on the old £10s.
A few £24s on the old £8s.
Ah yeah, Paul Stanley had 12*£3 repeat on Orlando Magic down the you know where. £3 cash jackpot.
A few £6s on the old £6s.
A few £8s on the old £2+rep/£4
1*£500 on a Party Slotto which didn't hold (!
)
1*£250 on a Club Caeser's Palace
A £100 on a £25. Sure of it. What was it? Ah yeah, Wildfire. All in one fell swoop. Maybe another £100 - not sure. Ah yeah, saw, not got but saw £150 on a newish arcade 90% BFG Cops 'n Robbers <<HAPPY DAYS - GO ALL THE WAY>>
A £144 top on a Grand Golden Game (£35).
£105s on various things. Jailboards, Inbloopable, not Vortex. Bully.
So all that and Paul Stanley wins it with his Orlando Magic blag. Jeez, that was ages ago. Doesn't beat PMK or Mr. no lock brand new machine, but beats me.
Just racking brains. Something that repeated umpteen times, £3 era. Can't remember too tired. It's bed time.

Thought I might get shot down!! I can assure you tho it happened and somebody else who's a a member on this board was working in the arcade at the time so he can verify!! Remember it was the £2 repeater that went on a mad one not a top feature or jp feature.Streakypoos wrote:Wow. Very hard to believe that, mind you Up 'n Over was a funny one.

I remember trivial pursuit when runnarge was upon you could go for £50+ if you took the smaller repeats £1 and £2. Loved those old Maygays.

Had 'Fruit Repeater' on the recent Corrie machine (from red bars) repeat cherries 32 times and then repeat again to give me mixed sevens for the full £35!
Heh - Trivial Pursuit, I used to always mishear 'Ah, pass the dice!' as 'Ah, bastardise!' (LOL)

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
I've had 4 repeats on both cashbuster from stop n step and red alert from firemans lift, both on £15, things like super pots [maygay] would repeat 20 + times on the lower wins when you was doing the empty, you had too take all these small wins at the end too wind it down after all the free wins you'd taken.

Indeed I witnessed said miracle too!!...couldn't believe it, still you witness some odd things when working in an arcade (Empires and Bananas spring to mind!)
I once had 10 repeats on a £10 jackpot machine for a total of £110
It was an early barcrest mpu4 machine, the one where when you got to the end of the trail you span the number reel to take a pick of a lottery ticket. it might have been rich and famous.
anyhow got mystery repeater which threw in the jackpot.
Thing was it was in a dingy underground nighclub and the bouncer was stood next to me agog at what had happened.
It paid out £60 and then ran out of coins. I though oh well, £60 will do me, I wont have a chance of getting my refund, but fair play to the bouncer he walked me over to the bar and old the staff the machine owed me £50 which they handed over
