Just be patient. I know it's a bit of an arse but 95% of the time you get your money. It's just standard practice that they wait for the engineer.

...then the engineer forgets to give the pub a credit note so the collector does'nt leave the money with the pub when she comes. Or the machine goes POP, then you are in trouble!!

Leisure companies do not deal with the customer direct.

i've had roughly 5 IOU's in the last year and i've been paid everyone, one took about 2 months too get and i was going in there once a week too ask about it but i did get it in the end even though the machine changed about 2 weeks after it happened, ask the managers name and leave your details. you should get it eventually.

And with them owing you money you didn't think to ask them for any witness details and insist they take your details? I'm sorry but your gonna get royally screwed there mate. They always ask for your name and contact number for claiming purposes. It's just some forget to ring you

Leisure link wont do anything, Its the pub who needs to sort you out, you should have given details etc.

The only company I know of that deals with IOU's themselves are crown leisure, they actually sent me a cheque in the post!

NAMCO (who operate the services near my house here on the !a4) sent me a IOU cheque too. I find LL are ok at paying too, any IOUs i've had recently have all been paid up 8)
