Hmm, feel free to disagree but I think it's slightly misleading to say that red BB or red BTQ would "usually" go for more than one Jackpot - it can be very hit and miss in my experience!Firefox wrote:Just force it to death, gamble on 10's, 3's for shots and it will go eventually. Red BB will "usually" go for at least £50 (£25 jackpot), if no one else is playing it right it will be £75 everytime..
I do agree though that the more the casual players wander along collecting Bronze Streaks etc the better; it really does take time and patience to gamble your way to the top feature, let alone having the tenacity to ensure that when you do get it, it's red - because of this, so many other wins are offered along the way that ordinary punters are 90% likely not to try and push it the whole way.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I gamble every number I get when on the Extra Bonus square on the inner ring - the gambles win so often that it's worth it, even going higher than a 6 etc, until you've got the top feature lit red. Then I just continue gambling it for Taxi.
There seem to be plenty of signs to make you *think* the machine is ready, but some of them can be red herrings (eg. feature entry via red boxes... has anyone ever had more than about 5 spins on one of those boards before dying?) - the 'holy grail' in the good signs department seems to be landing on the Skill Stop square (or being awarded Super Skill from the mystery); being awarded Wild Skill from the bonus; and exiting the inner ring only to survive the mystery and spin a 10 to go straight back into the inner ring on the right side arrow.
Those three things seem to be the best indicator that you're either on a Top Feature-capable board, or are about to be.
