I saw one very similar in a pub about a year and a half ago. It lasted about a week. It had a Monopoly game on it.... I had a couple of pound in it, I couldn't escape the feeling I was being robbed, even though it is no more rigged than a normal machine.
I guess punters prefer the real thing. Why don't they make a compromise ... generic mechanical reels, then a video screen for the feature board? That way you can still have more than one game available to play whilst making it still feel like a real puggy.
Anyone remember the old Screenplay machines? Normal reels, with all sorts of games to play on the video screen, like scratchcards, general knowledge, duck shoot.... anyone got a picture of one for nostalgia?
