Brainiac - Fruit Machine Abuse

Post by Nixxy »

Watching Brainiac on Sky One earlier, someone wrote in asking whether they could blow up a fruity. Excellent!

I'm pretty sure it was an old Fortune 500 - they packed the payout tray with ammonium nitrate and then retreated to a safe distance, where the lucky fella had the pleasure of doing the business with a giant plunger.

Machine explodes: the front glass travelled furthest while the door and all the wooden sides of the cabinet were simply burnt to ashes.

I'm considering blowing up a Prize Fighter as a result of watching this show.

:)

Excellent - A rival for the fruit machine bonfire! I'd love to sledgehammer an awful machine to death......just think of the satisfaction!

Lost all my hard earned profits on a BELLFRUIT- Bullys Prize Board.

full 1st quid. £10 offer 1st board. £130 later, still no raise from the £10 block.

Bellfruit are worse for blocks. I remember a LOTR old monopoly clone with the same problem. How they get away with it, I DO NOT KNOW.

Feel free to use a hammer or super glue or explosives to BELLFRUITS at your convenience.

If I could blow up or smash some fruities, these would be in the list:

Sub Zero
Bucks Bunny
Manic Muncher

Maybe that four-wheeler DOND too, alway seems to cost a tenner a board no matter what state it's in...

My top 3:

1. Hit Shot / Tubular Bells
2. The first DOND game - did we ever get to the bottom of the £10-in-board-2/8-lose routine?
3. That bloody one where you have to get the three parrots; Dough Ho Ho methinks...

Heh!

Yeah the DOND 4 reeler is an absolute pig.

Common boards...

2 to ? mark, lose
4 to feature, add features up to mystery, spin 8 to ? mark, lose
12 to ? mark, lose
8 to phone, 4 to ? mark, lose

4 in view 9/10 will spin you a 2 or 12 first hit.

Cash or bust is very tight on these too. Beat The Banker is by far the best cash or bust machine, regularly gives decent things, but annoyingly 1p too.

DOND 4 reeler on the fire please.
