RED FLASHING LIGHT GAME
RED FLASHING LIGHT GAME
I KNOW THIS IS NOT ABOUT FRUIT MACHINES BUT HAS ANYBODY SEEN THIS GAME WHERE YOU PUT YOUR MONEY IN AND THE LIGHT FLASHES AROUND AND YOU HAVE TO TRY AND STOP IT ON THE RED LIGHT TO WIN THE PRIZE CAN ANYBODY TELL ME INFO ABOUT THIS GAME OR WHAT IT IS CALLED
I saw one of these in a pub in London - and the prizes inside it were really good: None of those wiggly plastic snakes or pretend spiders you win at the funfair - oh no! The prizes were ipods, mobile phones, a £50 note ....
If I remember rightly, there was an arrow flying around a wheel stopping on 'UP 2' or 'DOWN 1' etc - and you had to get to level 5 to win a prize, which you pick by skill selecting a corresponding light.
It was a pound a go so presumably to win such valuable prizes would require a LOT of money through the machine.
There's also a version you see in places like Funland and Namcoworld (or whatever it's called) where you have to skill stop a rotating light to win the highest possible number of 'tickets' - Jackpot was very possible on these and it usually resulted in 200 tickets spilling out. You then took your 45,000 tickets to the Prize Counter and exchanged them for your plastic wiggly snake

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

Heh, I had a couple of goes on one of these once, it is as fixed as fudgery. However brilliant you are at skill stops, if it doesn't want you to win the prize, it'll jump off the light you intend to hit.
