For the technophobes and internet sceptics among you, http://www.ebay.co.uk is the premier online auction site that allows people to buy and sell almost anything. Coinslot took a look at what was on offer relating to the gaming and gambling industry and uncovered some surprising items. Type in ‘fruit machine’ in the search criteria and over 400 results are displayed.
Machines ranging from 1p (a JPM Indiana Jones machine with £10 jackpot, set on 20p play) to a vintage one-armed bandit game entitled Mad Money Handout on offer for a princely £450 o.n.o. can be bought from the site.

I assume the rest of the article goes on to talk about the legality of the whole thing?
I did see that 'Crest came down on someone who was creating simulators of their £500 machines, purely for using their graphics (which, they are in more than their own right to do!)
Would be interesting to read the rest if you wouldn't miind dropping it to me? Wise move not to 'cut 'n' paste' to here though, as you rightly state!

Yup.
The suggestion would be; put together the same game but change the graphics to something of his own. You're effectively playing the same game, but no-one will be knocking on your door to feel your collar!
(Bearing in mind this is only true because he wrote the software himself - that's the difference between a simulator and an emulator)
