It does sound bad, someone claiming benefits to gamble, but for some reason I don't really care that much. i DO disagree that it is hard to get a job though, any one with half a brain can get a job, it's only laziness or aiming too high that stop people.

Obviously you can average over £13.81 a day, if your happy with this then fairplay but I doubt many would agree... you are also talking I imagine about a bog standard job,

And then of course there's the lack of career prospects; instead of most careers where you look up, all you have to look to is an increasingly difficult profession, where you, and hundreds more like you are scurrying around trying to make the pittance that is out there...

It's sites like this that have helped cause the proliferation of players, but nothing can be done about it, thats the internet for you, "information" will get out, and quickly ( ie. emptiers used to last months when there was no net etc/mobile's but nowadays stuff gets out within a week ) - Tbh most of what most players know about modern machines is on here... yes there is still experience, discipline etc. but with so many "in the know", you just dont find many machines that are actually ready to pay.

My personal opinion, I can see how people make money playing for a living. But to be honest I think it would probably be a very sad existence. Getting up early doors going from pub to pub (mostly on your own) playing same machines day in day out.

Ok I play quite a bit most days but I play because I enjoy the idea of beating the machine (obviously you play to win) but unlike the so called pros I could afford to go out and lose in a day. Also I never play when I am out with the old girl or friends that don’t play as I find it ignorant.

Thing is though I have a pretty nice car, nice house etc etc ok it is on finance but how could the people playing for a living get a mortgage, get car finance, even have a credit card!!!!!! I mean fair enough you could get some council house. Call me snobby if you want but I would not fancy raising a family on a council estate our days.

People have been trying to say that you only need to make £14 a day to be on same as a full time wage. I think they are kidding there selves what about holidays. I mean I get 28 days holiday a year plus all bank holidays weekends etc. What about sick days!!!!!!!!

End of day I gamble on most things fruit machines, horses, football, casinos, poker etc etc. But I only play with money that I can afford to lose where as some people are playing to live can’t imagine that been a good or an easy life.

most pros doing £50 a day without breaking sweat.

Unless everything becomes random, still Ok for a year or 2 yet.
Yeah, but in your mind, that's on someone earning £250 a week.

News flash, the average wage is atround the £25,000 mark so double it, add some more, now you're getting closer ;)

I am my own boss. I can get up when I like, I can go home when I like, I can have a day off or a holiday when I please, I don't have to take orders. Happy Days. I can visit new places, I can take in beautiful scenery, I can go to the seaside when I please, I can meet new and different people.

I ENJOY DOING WHAT I DO NOW,
I DID NOT ENJOY FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT.

Which is wonderful, I agree - except for the fact that you're doing this dishonestly with other peoples' hard-earned money. Which part of this don't you get?

Pierkid - It started off sensibly enough, but descended into lunacy if you ask me... :(

Hmmm,

Scraping around trying to win enough money to buy food and clothes etd, with no guarantees of income in any given week.

Or

Guaranteeed income evey month, to allow me to go to a seaside somewhere in the Indian Ocean or maybe Australia for a few weeks.

Funnily enough i can also go home and go out when i want

Yes going out and visiting new places in my company car is great fun too, especially when i am still getting paid for doing it.

I ENJOY EARNING SHIT LOADS OF MONEY IN FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT

I STILL ENJOY TAKING EVERY BIT OF VALUE OUT OF A MACHINE WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU STOOD BEHIND SHARKING ME
