Why do you not think fruit machines can't be done for a living?

They can if you are disciplined and the "compulsive gambler" in us does'nt rear its ugly head!

New poster Bigshot disease methinks.

well i make what this kid makes in a year, in one single day, i drive a porsche, i only use solid gold cutlery, i have servants to wait on me hand and foot, i know an emptier for every single machine ever made because i paid to have new brain scienetific technology implant them in my brain and I can make even billy the quid shake in his boots.

I am the most pro player that did ever see these lands.

This would be my sattirical first post if i had known then what i know now.

Bleh, same old.

too many players these days for machines too be great money; you just cant be sure of a good week anymore ( by good I mean £800+ up ), where you used to be pretty much sure of it... if you have bills to pay etc. you cant live with that inconsistency..

this time next year they'll be even less potential than now; so anyone thinking of quiting their job for machines, I'd think again

Just a thought.

player 1 employed

£250 after tax
- rent £60
-ctax £20
travel £20
=£150

player 2 unemployed

£57.20 dss
rent £0
c tax £0
£57.20

£150-£57.20= £97.20 / 7 = £13.89

My maths suggest you only have to make £13.89 a day on the machines to be on the same wages as a full time worker. never mind £800.

And people that make money on fruits, claim on the dss for dole, free rent and free council tax help to make this country what it is.

A fucking disgrace!! :x :x

That is the most absurd thing I've heard...

I get thouroughly annoyed with people who do sod-all for their living and claim everything under the sun, whilst I'm out at work 5 days a week paying for three kids and the missus and not claiming a single penny, and never have!

I take home £1879 a month, and out of that, a good £1000 goes on 'things that need to be paid'. The rest is then distributed through the 4/5 weeks of the month for food / petrol / gas / electric / emergencies. I end up with about £200 for the month to use as 'pin' money. And as a family, we still sometimes struggle with things, such as when the unexpected happens, like the washing machine decides to stop washing, or the fridge decides to stop refrigerating, or the oven decides to blow up.

These are real-life things, and are important above any other thing you could mention.

Don't get me wrong though, there are cases where benefits are perfectly legitimate, whereby someone has just left education and are actively searching for their first step on the career ladder. Or, where people are genuinely incapable of work due to injury / illness. Or, where single parents have been left in the lurch by their partner.

But using their benefits to gamble / booze just infuriates me. I'm not going to play the old favourite of 'we're all paying for you lot' but what the hell, yes I am!
