++++Tricks you wished you knew for ebay.++++

Post by king_conspiracy »

Seeing as though free info for bits and bobs are flying out of my pm box of joy at the rate of 100 a minute at the moment....

Thought id share how to get last minute bargains on ebay, with the help of certain search options, a few private unknown websites and a bit of patience.

Just to give you an idea what can be had, in the last week ive had :-

2 Gameboy Advances with 17 games, charger, accessories - £20

Creative zen touch mp3 player 20gb - £9.99

28 ps2 games (mostly new titles) at no more than £1.50 each

Seinheisser (sp?) headphones (worth £80) - £8.99

Nintendo 64 with 10 games, 4 controllers, access - £8.99

Job lot of 50 indie cds - £4.99

You get the idea......

Pm's welcomed but i had to pay for half of this method.....And it took weeks to perfect the rest of it, so its trade only im afraid - anything considered, doesnt have to be fruity info (which im sure no one has any of anyway!)

But as you can see from the list, they are no ORDINARY ebay bargains.

does it rely on searching for things which have been spelled incorrectly by whoever listed them?
there are some real cretins about.
nobody ever wins on those things.

Yes and no.

To do that manually would take hours at a time going through all the combinations for one item.

Its also not only this aspect but a combinaton of some clever trickery in the search options.

like i said to unknown pse Mayo, that is NOT It.

Its far better than just manual typing.

Just check out a "section" of my bargains in the last 7 days.

It involves certain private websites, messing with search tools, patience and a few other pieces of info.

So thanks for the offer.

But this bargain finder/money maker i have gives me the one up over 99% of ebayers.

Yeah in the past I've come across things with mis spelt titles. Like you say it takes ages though of guessing what m ight have been spelt wrong etc.

I'm guessing theres some website that will scan the listing content possibly (where the seller may have spelt it properly?), or search for different permutations of a word etc, something like that?

Anyway, good luck to you I say! :D

Go here...

http://www.powersellersforum.com

to the left of the main logo is a link called 'free ebay tools'.

The misspelled item search is in there, basically you type in what you're looking for with the correct spelling and it checks all the different possibilities of mistakes, free

Yup used to use them searches ages ago but often these days there's hundreds of people hammering them so not many bargains left

I prefer using http://www.auctionsniper.com, makes sure you pay the lowest possible for any item. Pick your auctions well (closing early hours of the morning) and you can usually bag a bargain

Bleh.

That aint what im currently using at the moment. Its a combination of three things.

Put together = offers like this.

JobLot of 15 new Ps2 tiltes no resrve - 0 bids £4.99

NO bids. NO reserve. No 'watches'

Hence why ive been raping ebay bargains since christmas.

...and what tool is this?

I've been ebaying for years and this is the first i heard of it. Mind you saying that the only thing i buy is promo cds usually for less than quid, obviously no one likes the same music i do.
