Oh yea. Number runner is so good. Dosent everyone just actual cream there pants. NR YES! lol. I havent had it this year. Is that bad? :( Ive cut down big style in 2007 to try and eventually stop my habit.

On the design note - does anyone remember that fruity where you ping a little ball into a hole. You can obtain mega streak off it. Definitly a bell fruit??

On the subject of number runners, pickareel from here is pretty much the god of all things number runner related. Genius at work!

I'm actually thinking of designing my own machine for real... One major problem is the programming tho
Dont know what language its written in

How did I know that someone would be silly enough to say that? (No offence intended)

I meant languages as in programming languages such as VB, C, C+, C++, Pascal, C Basic, And theres others which I cant remember

It'll be C+ probably mate - although if you're doing it yourself, there's no reason why you couldn't use any language... :)

Either that or VB, it has to be pretty small programs to fit onto whatever controls the fruit machines

Also I'm sorta hashing together bits from different machines and then some computer parts to make a new machine. Sort of like a past mixed with future fruit machine type thing

Im sure I could give pickareel a number-runner for his money; but they aren't exactly the epitome of skill are they?!

That Powerball (and clones) is a pile of utter wank really, although I had a local machine where the ball was'stuck' in the streak-hole so just three shots would ALWAYS award the meage streak, too bad it would only offer the super feature when it was actually ok to offer the top streak :( , but was also good for a first level streak off 'bonus shot'. One thing I did notice from this, was that gamling a FOURTH time (ie getting mega streak offered twice) gave £50 from it, and a FIFTH time gave £75. probably a big coincidence. It got fixed before I could test this theory any further. I suppose without the ball being stuck, it would be bloody difficult to hit that many anyway..

Seem to remember seeing a bellfruit have a mini golf game in the middle if you unlock it, crazy money?

So going with the idea of a screen, I suggest you stick an SWP in the middle of an AWP, how mint would that be :D .

SWP 'screen' within an AWP, would certainly up the possibilities! For example, 'feature boards' that are huge and detailed, which wouldn't fit on a standard sized AWP. Lots of new feature games that aren't possible with 'hardware', but could be easily done in software. I'm surprised this hasn't really been done yet?!
I know there are video slots around but they're really just a software set of reels, nothing more exciting than that...
Possibilities could be excellent!

In the casino side at the ATEi there was a Monopoly fruit machine that had machanical reels with an LCD screen over the top. Amazing bit of kit but the costs are just too high at the minute for the UK market.

that said, every AWP manufacturer was showcasing video AWP developments

We have one of those video Fruits where I work, with four games on including battleships, which I had about 6 years ago back at the start of uni!, one of the easiest machines EVER to read.. but no one ever plays it :(
