Know how ya feel mate, a mate of mine got done in by a few chavs who were totally off their faces, all he said was he was minding his own business and one of them just walked up to him and started panning him in the face.
Problem being this was in the middle of some high street and at half 2 in the afternoon!
This lad needs an operation on his eye now... scums of the earth, all of them. So just be happy mate, in the grand scheme of things what's £80, one of them could have easily pulled a knife or something out and done some more serious and permenant damage, sounds like you got away lightly under the circumstances.

Completely agree. One of my mates is a sound guy and they wind him up as much as they wind me up (usually because of what I said above, you can't get them to realise how pathetic their lives are). The problem is, I can walk away and leave it whereas it winds him up so much that he can't - if they start fighting him, he'll fight back.
