Faulty reel

Ok so my barcrest hot as hell has a 95p stake and apparently I have been informed that it's nothing to do with changing the stake amount but it's a faulty reel. Can anyone shed any light?

check the reels on the top glass, make sure all reels are connected properly and not impeded by anything
