Was playing a single unit of Machine 6.66 ... cash did not come out, refill required £200 odd to collect...

Arcade assistant: "Can you please sign and write your name here?"
Me: "No I can't!"
Assistant: "You have to!"
Me: "Or what?"
Assistant: "I can't pay you if you don't!"
Me: "Did i ask you to sign something every time I put a £20 in the machine?"

Me: "What's the point? Anyone could sign any name, you can write Minnie Mouse and sign it!"
Assistant: "I am doing my job!!!!!"
Me: "I want an explanation about why I need to sign and what it does if I do!"
<no reply>
Me: "Hello?"
Assistant: "Its not my fault!"

Felt sorry for her, signed....

30 mins later...
Assistant: "Sorry but you can't play anymore!"
Me: "Why???"
Assistant: "I saw what you did and I know that's why you don't want to sign!"
Me: "What??????"
Assistant: "I SAW YOU USE TELEPHONE!!!!!!!"
Me: "AND???????????????"
Assistant: "I know about the app! The making machines pay out app! My boyfriend has it!"
Me: "Er.... then you either have an imaginary boyfriend or your boyfriend is on drugs, what app???"
Assistant: "Don't talk about my boyfriend! Get out or I call the police now!!!!"
Me: "You are on FUCKING DRUGS!"

Was in a quicksilver myself the other day playing 2 boogie nights machines which weren't linked properly. Got bonus on one and other didn't go up. Long story short took a video of incident on my phone second time it happened as arcade staff useless. After telling her I had a video and what should have happened the simple reply was using phone in the arcade is fraud and it was best if I didn't tell the manager. As they wouldn't do anything to fix the problem I asked for head office number. Head office told me that the machine didn't always go up on bonus (especially not when they are not linked) and to ask in the arcade what street the premises was on. Upon entering the arcade I was told to leave because I was on the phone to head office. DOH!

You are bloomin' mad! Why the hyper argumentative nature? Why not just sign for your low heat hand pay? Instead you raised an unnecessary argument and the situation became high heat. Yes, she was silly to say you had an app etc, but it should never have got to that point. Clearly the signatures are for purposes of audit. They're not fail safe, but short of Cashino taking a lock of hair for DNA purposes, what can they do? When a machine takes in money it is logged on the meters, when it pays out a higher amount via hand pay (for your convenience, as you'd rather not have 100+ coins I'm sure, although some note pay machines are hand pay) it has to come from another float, hence the signature.
