My advice would be decide what you wish to do with your life and take the necessary steps to achieve this aim, such as doing an Open University degree for example.

There are a range of NVQ's you could sign up for depending on your chosen profession or vocation, and if you are currently unemployed there are many free courses you could do, such as computing, retail or admin which teach you the basic skill required for employment in these various sectors.

Gambling is not going to provide you with either an income nor a general sense of purpose.

I feel your words may fall on deaf eyes. That said, give the guy a break. He's only lamenting the lack of old school playables. Everyone wishes for what they can't have now and again.
