Every player has at some point pursued another player for info. Success often depends on how subtlely it is done.
No player works everything out, and info doesn't grow on a mystical tree at the bottom of the garden so a degree of manipulation is necessary to keep oneself near the top of the tree.
Manage your contacts well, compliment them, massage their ego and tell them what they wish to hear without lying to them.

You are clearly still a bit annoyed about the criticism I levelled at you the other day. Having read the post back I stand by what I said, but I admit that it came across a bit harsh, so apologies for that, but you shouldn't draw attention to yourself so much. You said recently you would like to 'bump heads' with certain people on fruits, me being one of them. Well I am heading down your way again soon, will be revisiting some of my old haunts from years gone by. Torquay Harbour is nice. I'd be happy to meet up and put a face to a name and have a chat. That way when someone else moans to me about how you ruin tricks I'll perhaps be able to put them in their place.
