Bank Holiday Services Mayhem

Post by jeffvickers »

Oh my god. Is this how the ordinary folk enjoy their Bank Holiday Monday.
Utter Chaos. The Burger King Queue stretched as far as the exits, 10000s of people must have come in and out whilst I was there (for a Car Trade, not a slot), screaming kids, clumsy families etc.

Yet, surprisingly, not 1 person played a £70JP in this peak time rush!
Though £1000s were spunked on the 500s. 1 guy in a suit, some meathead & ransom munter throwing a £20 in for luck.

Any casual player would be off there head to play a 70 jackpot when there are 500s there.
When i am out and about with mates, They never play any fruit in a pub now.
Its allways lets pop in the bookies for a gamble on a 500.
You know what,They are spot on,They have a great chance of winning 500 or major win for 20 quid .
I have one mate who has never won a 70 jackpot who plays 10,20 quid at most through when in pubs.
But he has won several 500s, gold pots etc. for 20 quid max.
The only reason players hate them is they have no advantge what so ever over a casual.
saturday night i was in a spoons with 10 fruitys lol and i see 1 or 2 people on them all night. Then it was only a few quid and they were off them.
The 70s are very bad machines for casuals

If the 70's are as you describe.........are players just winning other players money?

This is correct. Any casual player who plays a £70 jackpot in a service station is a mug as it will be on 70% payout which is the minimum setting. £500 machines are generally on 90 - 94% payout with it not being possible to go below this and this is why they pay & are played so much more.

They can take loads off people, and the people that play them are usually from socio economic lower backgrounds....who live in borderline poverty. So get it right.....these are'nt a good habbit to have

Sounds really bad to hear players talk about luck. Should never be about luck but then I guess it reflects today's state of affairs
