That Indy was about 50 for 70 when I played it the next day but it got absolutely no play at all during that weekend! Mega got a bit of play but not enough to bump the cp up. I actually made the most money on that DOND Gold. Had a few half decent cobs then phones 35. Got up to about 40 ahead on it so left it with the cp still on 70. Those ggs love a 15 top just to f*** you up!!!!

if quizzers had to pay 80% by law, then there would be some reward for playing, even when the 1st deal or no deal game was easy to read and some unit that didn't get updated regular you could get to the end game quite often, problem is most times it was the game where the highest offer you could get was £3 regardless of the board so there was only ever £1-2 to be had most times and units that where not ready it was a £1-2 loss. Hardly have a go on them recently.

Question banks differ between manufactures and there are quiz pros out there that know 90% of the answers but their games have gone down hill worse than ours. games can have well over 10000 questions each too

Did that give you a BOOST, or did it MARS your enjoyment of the day..? I'm not expecting even a RIPPLE of applause for this contrived reply....

Scott wrote:I don't know much about this, but i would imagine different machines have different amounts of question banks, i pretty much had all the answers memorised for connect 4, so much so that i hardly ever read the question, i just looked at the answer before pressing, i'm sure on games of a few years back that people have memorised whole question banks, i'd imagine the problems start when it throws the spoiler question in, what star sign is Adolf Hitler etc.
Speaking as a (kind of pro but not quite) quizzer can I just say 'What starsign is Adolf Hitler?' is most definitely NOT a spoiler!
The spoilers we get nowadays are more like "Which episode of Brookside was shown before the others?" or "which date did Christina Aguilera launch her new perfume in 2010? - May 22, May 21 or May 20?"
I'm not joking. This is why the quiz scene is dying.

Fair enough, that eliminates even an educated guess.

Hex Maniac today - I ran into a brick wall. Computer Languages or Abbreviations. The money was still 2 away. I chose Computer Languages. The puzzle had just 1 letter!!! I guessed A and somehow that was correct! Next was a fairly easy Cat Breed for the money. Never have I worked so hard for £2!

Yeah computer language called A, that is a bit dodgy, there is A+, B, C, D, J, K, L, M, R, S, T amoungst others, so really it could of fucked you on any of the answers you tried, you will just have to go with it could afford to pay a win.

I don't know that it wanted to pay the win Russ. Had to get through a couple of moons, a stars, left handed actor and a couple of inventors before that computer language came up!
