hi just picked my first machine up today its a machine called CASHANOVA by MAZOOMA .evrything ok with it but my question is its set on 25p play and i want it on a lower rate maybe 10p .is this something i can do

Welcome, Chris. There are some DIL switches I believe, that changes stake. One of the more technical guys will be along later to help out.

Might be worth asking in the technical section of the forum.
