i think linesman is a Homeless spare-changer that found a free-internet libary card, could understand having a 'surveilance team' for that an would make more sense when he says 'popping out for a few coppers'

Hope you are well mm, you are right about this game chewing individuals up. It does kind of do that to people but I suspose its just human nature in a way. So much to do and explore in life and we all need to have humilty and balance.
